Review: River Past Video Slice is an application designed to help you cut video clips from a variety of formats, including AVI, ASF, 3GP, MOV, MP4, VOB and WMV. The program interface is simple and intuitive. Video can be imported via the file browser as drag and drop method is not supported (not on Windows 7, at least). So you can play the video and use the two buttons to mark the start and end time. But you can also type in their values, take snapshots, viewing file properties, and using undo and redo functions. Once you hit the Export button, you can choose the output video format, disable audio, and video configuration settings (eg, compressors, resolution, frame rate). In addition, you can apply a grayscale filter, adjust video quality, change audio preferences (eg frequency sample rate, channel, bit rate), and specify the destination folder (as the original file or other) and the action to take if the file already exists (for example, ask to replace). Video Splitter requires a fairly large amount of system resources, including tutorials for beginners, with instant and quickly completed the task without displaying any errors. Picture and sound quality are maintained at an excellent level. The only downside of River Past Video Slice is the interface that is a bit outdated.
